SWIPEBOARD HYBRID IS ADOPTED BY UNIVERSITI PUTRA MALAYSIA (UPM) TO ACHIEVE ITS OBJECTIVE OF SMART CAMPUS INITIATIVE 2021-2025
In line with efforts in promoting smart campuses and digitization through AL-Falah’s call from Menara IImu, UPM through the Information and Communication Development Center (iDEC) has provided strategic direction and empowered the digitization of smart campuses that are more holistic and effective involving aspects of teaching and learning (PdP), services, infrastructure and sustainability in line with UPM’s digitalization transformation road map.
This effort towards digitization is driven through 30 smart campus initiatives that cover four clusters namely Digital Learning, Smart Manage, Secure Campus and Community Network. All of these smart campus initiatives are branded with the name Smart PUTRA®
SWIPEBOARD HYBRID AT SMART CAMPUS OF UPM
SWIPEBoard Hybrid uses infrared touch technology to track teacher’s hand writing on the blackboard and turn the content directly into digital content. Teachers can exhibit the teaching process via built in webcam of the computer or connect to camera. It is very suitable for online learning.
